A Practical Vision for a Growing Bradford
Bradford is changing.
New families are arriving. New neighbourhoods are being built. New opportunities are emerging. As our community grows, we must ensure our infrastructure, services, economy, and community connections grow with it.
The question is not whether Bradford will grow.
The question is whether we will grow well.
Together, we can build a future that is responsible, connected, and full of opportunity.
My Campaign Priorities
Three pillars to support a stronger Bradford

1. Grow Responsibly
Ensure infrastructure, services, and planning keep pace with growth while promoting transparency and accountability.

2. Grow Our Economy
Support local businesses, attract investment, strengthen downtown Bradford, and seize opportunities created by Highway 425.

3. Grow Together
Create more opportunities for youth, keep seniors connected, and strengthen partnerships that build community.
Listen. Connect. Collaborate. Act.
Leadership begins with listening to residents, bringing people together, finding practical solutions, and delivering results.
Leadership rooted in community
These experiences have taught me the importance of collaboration, accountability, careful planning, and bringing people together around a common purpose.
Since making Bradford my home in 2019, I have been committed to giving back to the community that has given so much to my family.
From 2020 to 2026, I served on the School Councils at Chris Hadfield Public School and Marshview Public School, including leadership roles as Chair and Co-Chair. During that time, I worked to strengthen connections between our schools and the broader community. One initiative I am particularly proud of was leading members of our School Council Executive Team to personally engage local businesses in support of school fundraising efforts, helping build partnerships that benefited students and strengthened community involvement. I also helped organize family fitness events that brought together students, parents, and residents while promoting healthy and active living.
I am the founder of the Naloy Cultural Corporation, an organization dedicated to promoting cultural understanding, leadership development, and community engagement. Through cultural programs, leadership conferences, and community events, I have worked to bring people together, celebrate diversity, and create opportunities for learning, connection, and collaboration.
Professionally, I serve as a Senior Financial Advisor, helping individuals, families, and business owners plan for their futures and achieve their financial goals. Every day, I listen to people’s concerns, help them navigate important decisions, and work with them to build practical solutions for long-term success.
Whether volunteering in our schools, organizing community initiatives, or helping families plan for the future, I have always believed that leadership is about listening, building relationships, and bringing people together around a common purpose. These experiences have taught me the importance of collaboration, accountability, careful planning, and responsible decision-making.

I am not running because I have all the answers.
I am running because I believe we can find solutions together.

Priorities in Action
I use the following questions to guide my process, ensuring that every decision remains thoughtful, transparent, and focused on results.
Why Yolan Williams?
Because leadership begins with service. Because experience matters. Because Bradford deserves leadership that listens, connects, collaborates, and acts.
Growth should work for residents, not against them. Every decision must reflect that.
Years of work in schools, nonprofits, and community organizations have prepared me for this role.
